Maybe your life looks steady from the outside. Maybe it doesn't. Maybe things feel unfinished, harder than you can easily explain, or nothing like what you thought you would have built by now.

Either way, something in you has started asking questions you can't quite silence.

What do I actually want, separate from what I've been taught to want?

Who am I beneath the roles I've learned to play?

Why does something still feel out of place, despite everything I've done to make it fit?

Sometimes these questions arrive at a threshold — when an old way of being no longer quite fits, but what comes next has not yet fully taken shape.

These questions are not evidence that you've failed. They can emerge when you begin looking at your life closely enough — and honestly enough — to notice where it no longer feels like your own.

02
highness /ˈhī-nəs/ n.
  1. traditional a title of address for royalty.
  2. as used here a woman's sovereignty over her own life; the authority and self-trust to honor her judgment, desires, and direction, rather than living primarily from expectations she has inherited, absorbed, or learned to meet.

— as in Meet Your Highness

The Meet Your Highness Method™

The Meet Your Highness Method™ is an integrative approach to therapy grounded in humanistic psychology, evidence-informed practice, and an archetypal lens on identity — the roles we inherit, the selves we perform, the patterns we repeat, and the possibilities we may not yet have imagined.

The work moves through five interconnected dimensions:

RECOGNIZE. RECLAIM. RELEASE. REIMAGINE. REALIZE.

At its center is congruence — the growing alignment between who you understand yourself to be and the life you actually live.

A practice built for the in-between

This practice was created for women in the midst of real transition and real difficulty — whether life has quietly stopped fitting or has visibly come apart.

This kind of work asks for room to hold complexity: grief alongside possibility, certainty alongside doubt, the person you have been alongside the person you may be becoming.

Therapy here is not about rushing toward an answer. It is about understanding what is happening deeply enough to move forward with greater clarity, agency, and trust in yourself.

"I work best with women who find themselves in the midst of change — when something about who they've been or how they've been living no longer quite fits. My approach is warm, relational, and deeply curious, creating space to understand what you're carrying while also discovering what may be ready to change, grow, or emerge."

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be in a major crisis to begin therapy?+

No. Some women come to therapy in the midst of significant disruption; others come because something simply no longer feels right. You do not need to wait until things fall apart to become curious about what may need your attention.

What if I can't explain exactly what's wrong?+

You don't need to arrive with the right words, a clear diagnosis, or a fully formed explanation. Part of the work can be making sense of what you are experiencing together.

What is the Meet Your Highness Method™?+

The Meet Your Highness Method™ is an integrative framework for exploring identity, patterns, self-trust, possibility, and change through five interconnected dimensions: Recognize, Reclaim, Release, Reimagine, and Realize.

How do I know whether we're a good fit?+

The consultation is an opportunity for both of us to consider fit. You can ask questions, learn more about my approach, and get a sense of whether this feels like a therapeutic relationship you would like to explore.

What can I expect from the consultation?+

The consultation is a brief, low-pressure conversation about what brings you to therapy, what you may be looking for, and whether my practice may be an appropriate fit for your needs.

Do you offer virtual or in-person therapy?+

Therapy is offered virtually, allowing you to meet from a private, comfortable space without adding travel to an already full life.

Do you accept insurance? What are your fees?+

Meet Your Highness is a private-pay practice and does not accept insurance directly. Upon request, I can provide a superbill — an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. For current session fees, please visit the Fees page.

A Coronation of Your Own

Your highness isn't bestowed upon you.

It isn't a title someone else gets to grant — or withhold.

It is a birthright.

There are versions of ourselves we inherit, versions we create to survive or belong, and versions that wait quietly at the edge of our imagination.

Perhaps the real coronation is not becoming someone entirely new, but recognizing the sovereignty that was yours all along — and becoming curious about who else you are allowed to be.

10

If something in this has felt familiar, that's worth paying attention to.

You don't have to know exactly what needs to change to begin exploring what comes next.
